Please, please, please for the love of crabcakes keep IC separate from OOC. It's the most fundamental of roleplaying rules. Look at it like this: if you are getting mad at another player over something their character is doing, then you're crossing the line. (ROLEPLAY. UR DOIN' IT WRONG.) Don't get mad over IC stuff. If you don't like IC drama, don't get involved in it. But don't suck the fun out of rp for the players who do enjoy a little IC dramaz.

Speaking of those IC dramaz, you know that nine month gestational period a baby has? That's so it will be healthy and happy and able to ooze all over mommy and daddy. Much less than that, and it's the NICU for you! So be realistic! Gestate for nine months (or so)! Oh, and that rape stuff? Doesn't actually happen as much as the news would have you believe. Major dramaz need to be cleared with a moderator -- this includes rape and suicide. Thank you.

We absolutely will not tolerate any kind of bullying, IC or OOC. If you are making another player uncomfortable by torturing their character IC, that is not okay. If you are being deliberately hateful to another player, IC or OOC, for whatever reason, and they report it to the mods, expect to be spoken to about it. We want our players to be happy, and not feel like they don't want to log in because of what other players are doing to them.

Godmodding. No one likes it. Don't do it. If it is being done to you, tell a mod. Prove that you were godmodded, and the mods will talk to the player in question. This isn't baseball. You get a second chance, but you don't get a third. Don't be a jerk. Let people play their own characters.

The update limit here is two weeks. Once you have reached the two week limit, you will be warned. If you do not update, then you will be removed. Extensions will be granted on a case-by-case basis, but please do not use them as an excuse to not update your character. Hiatuses will be granted if asked for. A character may be on hiatus until they have reached four weeks with no update. If your character reaches four weeks, they will be removed. We don't care if your character was on hiatus -- four weeks with no update equals removal. Don't whine, if you want to be in the game, you can reapply, no harm no foul. The only time this changes is under extreme circumstances.

This is a faux-celebrity game. As such, you will be creating the credits of your character. Please limit yourself to no more than three voices per musician. If you decide to use more than one voice, please make sure they could realistically come from the same person. If you are playing an actor, please make sure that their credits are realistic. One person is not going to be in five or six starring roles a year. It is very hard to work on a television show and do movies at the same time. And in the same vein -- actors don't tend to start out in starring roles. Look up Julia Roberts or Brad Pitt on IMDB. How many starring roles did they have when they first started out? And they're huge stars now. Look at actors who aren't huge stars, and consider their credits before you pick out every starring role in every movie you've liked in the last five years. If you have all starring roles, you're not going to be accepted, and we're sorry. It's in the rules.

You know those journals you register for these games? Please make sure that they contain your character's name. It makes everyone's life easier if they can tell who you are from the journal name on their friendslist. The same goes for your AIM screenname. It's so we can tell who you are, trust us.

Please make sure that you are adding everyone to your friendslist. We aren't running a place for you to play your psl and ignore everyone else. You don't have to respond to every post on your flist, but you need to have everyone on it.
